About Tatiana Marie Bersier

Tatiana Marie Bersier « Tati » was born prematurely in 1990 at 26 weeks and her health suffered greatly from her prematurity. But despite of that she was quiet, thankful for what she had and lived life to the best of her abilities.

Tatiana, you have taught me so much, if I am a better person today is all due to you, you taught me how to be strong despite what life throw at you, what really matter in the short time we are on this earth. Your kindness and view on life has been an inspiration. I always say that everything I learned about life was what you taught me, and to honor you I have tried to live my life following your teachings.

She was widely known throughout the medical community, in Orlando and Jacksonville as the “kissing” girl, she would blow kisses to everyone she met and brighten their life with her love.

Tatiana passed away in 2001 following a rupture of the artery in her neck and the lack of care and professionalism from her attending nurse at the time, yet I have not dwell on this accident but preferred to be thankful for the 10 wonderful years I was able to share with her.

I miss you daily, Tati, you are forever the most important love of my life, and I will never forget how you change me to a better person and am eternally grateful of having been allowed to be part of yours. And it is always with the outmost pride that I call you my daughter and take comfort in believing that you are making others happy wherever you are now.
